Sister arriving tomorrow!

wow, time passes so quickly! I can’t believe Iv been back to UK for 3 weeks already, and my sister is arriving from the USA tomorrow! Hmm.. I still have so much to do before my sister arrives. I need to go get soccer trophies for boys, promised a favour to my collegue, then I have to clean up my flat and cook dinner! Plus, I am working tomorrow, half day only but still its going to be a long day! Looking forward though!

Weekend finally!

Ah, its finally the weekend! I feel like the week has been a long and tiring one. I guess its because my rota for this week has been crap. I have been put to work in stores that are extremely busy, and there is no time to stop to breathe, or take toilet breaks! Im so glad tomorrow its saturday, and even I have to work on a saturday, but tomorrow is only half a day! Hooray!

I thought it would be dreadful to go back to work after 3 days break in London, but it was not the case today. I worked in paignton today, a health and beauty, fairly busy store. However, it hasn’t been busy all day, but it wasn’t draggy either, so time passed by rather quickly for me, and I did not feel any pressure as well. So all in all a good day!! Because I dont feel as tired as I would normally do, I had some spare time and energy to search for fly sheets online!

As usual, whenever I go to London, Id bring back lots of food, there is no exception this time! I could have brought more if I had more hands, lol. But I only have a pair to carry so much, darn. So I bought some egg tarts, and went to a japanese restaurant to take away some bento for dinner! I ordered teriyaki chicken with rice, ebi tempura, and kara age chicken. I bought some instant noodles, and some snacks too. I was also going to take away some roast duck, but I gave that up after I bought other bits, they were too heavy to carry. And, I already had 3 duck meals when I was there, so I figured I can leave it for the next trip! Hehe

It was my weekend off, and monday was bank holiday, so I had 3 days back to back. Was supposed to go down to plymouth for dinner with friends, last minute got invited to join another friend and her friends in London! Why not right? Had lots to eat, went drinking, made new friends, went to hunt for discount dvd movie, and also did a favour for a blogging friend! Oh not forgetting, went to oxford street for shopping too! What a productive weekend.

Looking at my rota this week, at first I was pretty dissapointed. Lately I have been put to work in big and busy stores. However,today was my first day back after my long weekend,and it was surprisingly quite steady and calm. This week started off alright. I dont know about wed, thus, and fri yet, but I dislike the store im going to on thurs and friday, I just hope time passes so quickly without me noticing. Then it is Saturday, Im only working nearby for half a day!! So it isn’t too bad!

Where has my sunday gone? Day off always passes so quickly, dont you think? I had a long list of things to be done including to start on setting up websites for CPA, like pay per install programs etc, but guess what? Nothing’s done, as usual! I woke up at 10am, watch some drama, had lunch, then had a nap since the weather was very ‘nice’. got up cooked dinner, shower, chat with friends, and now about time to go to bed, back to work tomorrow! How was your weekend?

As I have decided to move back home to Malaysia, I needed to register as a pharmacist in Malaysia. My registration is almost done except that I need to get a letter of good standing from the pharmaceutical societ of great britain. And I just found out I have to pay for it?? how insane. Argh. Nothing is free in this world. Darn. £77!! Not cheap at all eh!

Gift for a music lover

My best buddy’s birthday is around the corner, and I still havn’t decided what to get for him. I hate buying presants for people’s birthday because everyone’s taste is different, how would I know what they like, or what would be suitable item for them right? Thats why I always struggle when it comes to getting gifts. The only thing I know about this friend is he loves music, and once he mentioned he only uses Avalon goodies, because they are all great quality stuff. So maybe I should look it up online.

Before I came back to KL, I had so much plans to be productive with my online work, but guess what? Nothing was accomplished as usual!! Im so not surprise with myself. Im a good planner but terrible at putting my plans into actions. I seriously have to do something about my attitude!! Arghh.
