Missing cheese fondue and travelling!

I was watching the amazing race, and looking at their task to eat as much cheese fondue in a given time, really made me miss the cheese fondue I had few years back in Switzerland.
It really has been awhile since I last travelled to any european countries. Argh, I think I am missing the good old [...]

Feringghi Garden Restaurant

It has been almost a month since I visited the Feringghi Garden Restaurant. We visited Penang Island for 3 days, and Feringghi Garden Restaurant was the first place we went for dinner. My sister chose this restaurant particularly because it was her birthday.
We were really impressed with the ‘greens’ theme, and the ambiance was perfect, [...]

Sunday routine

Where most people lie in on a sunday, and go to the parks after lunch, I wake up early, and go to work. I rarely drink any hot drinks, but recently I have developed a new interest in Costa Hot Chocolate.
Because I work most Sunday shift in Paignton, I would normally wake up earlier, and [...]

Yummy sandwich @ Nourish cafe

I was introduced to Nourish Sandwich by my collegues in St Marychurch, Torquay. Normally, if I work there on a Saturday, they would always have sandwich from this cafe across the road. I must say their sandwich is second to none in Torquay. It is made to order, so you can imagine, it is very [...]

Lemon Tree Cafe @ Brixham

I feel tired and hungry all the time, I wonder why. Maybe I need some women’s multi vitamin to boost my health due to my working hours. I really can’t believe myself anymore. I had a roast lunch today. It is no longer sandwiches or soups. It is proper roast meals for lunch.

I’ll let myself off [...]

I remember, the last time I visited London a month ago, I have seen this famous brazilian doughnuts in several markets i.e. Portobello [...]

Are you a big eater like me?

If you followed my food blogs, you’d know I am a big eater. Many people can’t tell due to my size. Previously I had the whole medium sized pizza from pizza hut myself! But that was after a long stressful day at work. Yesterday I had 6 slices of pizza from dominos, which is not too [...]

Greenwich, London

Last weekend I went for market hopping in London. One of the markets I visited was Greenwich market. The reason I went there was for the supposedly delicious and cheap tempura! Tempura is my favourite, I would go all the way to Greenwich to try it, call me crazy!
Besides visiting the food market, I also wanted [...]

Christmas dinner @ babbacombe inn

I have been to this restaurant several times, their food is always not bad, but the Christmas meal was bad.

I had the creamy garlic mushrooms as starter that was ok.
Then I had roast beef, horrible dish. The gravy was tasteless; roast potatoes were overly done and burnt

Cheesecake – well the presentation looked quite nice, but [...]

Prezzo @ Torquay for the 2nd time

This is my 2nd visit to Prezzo, it was a Sunday, and many restaurants aren’t open, at least during winter, less restaurants are open. We wanted to go for thai restaurant, but the owner has gone back to Thailand for a month!! So we opted for an Italian meal over seafood. I ordered 2 starters  [...]
