Magic Bowl oriental restaurant at Paignton, Torbay
Have you been to Magic Bowl Chinese Restaurant in paignton, torbay?? Im still overwhelmed I found this thai, Singaporean, Malaysian oriental restaurant in Paignton whilst visiting a friend!! The best thing is they do delivery to Torquay where I live, with a charge of £2.50 which i think is fair, since its further away.
They do a whole lot of Malaysian dishes which i like! Ie. Wanton noodles, nasi lemak with curry or rendang, curry mee, tom yum seafood noodles, beef brisket with rice or noodles etc..
My friend and I tried the wanton soup noodles, and the beef brisket with flat rice noodles. Eventhough they are not exactly like the ones back home, but they were 75% alike, it’s still so much better than the Chinese takeaways! The other day I just ordered nasi lemak for delivery, its served with chicken curry, if you want to have beef rendang, you have to pay £5.. so I didn’t in the end.. Apparently the owner is a Malaysian as well!! How nice is that? For a moment, I felt at home again.. I will definitely go there again.. for those of you who miss food from home, and is near paignton, you must go and try! For those who love oriental food and is living in Torbay, you can have a taste of what proper asian food taste like
