I love chicken rice so much, it is my favourite dish to have whenever I go back home. I like the roasted chicken instead of the steamed chicken, and I like the thighs, sometimes I go for drumstick, but I never go for the breast meat, I find it too plain. If you noticed, the thighs tend [...]

This is my second review on the hotel. Im very pleased with their service, as I did encounter a little problem with their internet connection this time, I phoned the reception at 10pm, and they arrange for another room promptly. The rooms were as good as the 1st time if not better, with modern furnishing, [...]

This place has got so many good memories. It is one of my favourite restaurants for western food i.e steak. I know many may think I’m so outdated, but I am really loyal to this restaurant. It is like my family’s tradition to celebrate our birthdays here, even though there are so many new restaurants [...]

Roti Canai wasn’t really something I would crave for, but I like having it as a snack or for supper. Roti canai is a flatbread found in Malaysia, and is also known as Roti Prata in Singapore. It is served with either dhal, chicken curry kuah(sauce) or fish curry kuah. I never liked dhal, so [...]

I like the location of this restaurant very much, it is in front of the beach, and you can enjoy your dinner with a nice sea view. One thing in Penang, they have stray dogs everywhere, so be sure you pick a good spot with good view and not by the sides where the dogs [...]

‘The End of the World’ Restaurant was closed for some reason on a Saturday? Is the business really that bad? As far as I am concern, it used to be so famous, I can’t figure out why they close on a Saturday. We had no choice but to try the other chinese restaurant further down [...]

The one thing you must try at Hou Mei Yuen is the Muah Chee from the uncle outside the restaurant, it is a snack of glutinous rice pieces coated in toasted peanuts and sugar. He does the best Muah chee ever, served with crushed peanuts and sugar, and topped with fried shallots, the shallots blends really well [...]

Anyway if you are at Hou Mei Yuen, you can try their Rojak too, the sauce is quite good, but they don’t give fried ‘you tiao’, and their prawn crackers are not the regular ones we get with rojak, but it is not that bad, because the sauce is good. This rojak is served with [...]
