Thai Star Restaurant
A couple of my uni friends came over to Torbay (the area I live in) for the week as they were working in the hospital here. So I met up with them after work. Torquay town centre was exceptionally quiet today, I wonder why. It has been awhile since I last came down to town (too much hassle to travel by bus when it is so cold) but I can’t believe it has gone so quiet, I guess it is probably due to the winter period, many restaurants were shut, it wasn’t even late, was at town about 7pm. So strange you know, the whole high street was practically dead. We spotted an Indian restaurant at the place we met up, was going to have the indian buffet for dinner, but for some reason there is no buffet tonight, only menu meals, which works out more expensive. So we tried our luck and continue hunting for a better restaurant nearby. We walk towards the Harbour, and most of the restaurants were also closed there, But luckily towards the end of the road, there is one that is open, and it suited us perfectly! Its a Thai restaurant, which looked pretty pleasant. So we had our dinner there, and catched up with each other. It was a great night nonetheless despite the deadly town. Got home at 10pm, and now updating my blogs
